Ryan Morrow is an analytical chemist, poet, and devoted lover of literature living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When he's not in the laboratory, you'll find him buried in books — hunting for hidden gems, rediscovering forgotten classics, and sharing great reads with fellow enthusiasts. Doom Scroll Bookstore is the natural extension of that passion: a carefully curated collection of used books spanning genres, eras, and voices that deserve to be read.

Ryan's relationship with the written word goes beyond the shelf. He is also a poet in his own right, with a style that blends the idealized writers of old with a more modern free verse — always pushing boundaries with curious and demanding intent.

To date he has released three volumes of poetry. "Chase Something Worth the Kill" (2015), his literary debut, has been reimagined in a Redux version. Its pages are filled with punchy lines of verse that leave readers captivated and perplexed all at once. That was followed by the hefty and exploratory "Deep Survival" (2018), a focused meditation on the dualities of being. In 2020, he released his most ambitious work yet, "Weightless" — a book about beauty and its beasts, the ephemeral nature of man, and falling in love with uncertainty.
